Hey you, this is caliblog, all of this is based on a true story... all of this is our lives my life in a nutshell.

For the first time, in as long as I can remember, I feel unwaveringly hopeful about the new direction of our country. I can feel the energy in the air... the last eight years are finally over.

I feel so lucky, so humbled to be alive for this. I will never forgot today. I woke up early, I walked to my polling place, cast my vote, and only 12 hours later, watched every single cynicism I'd grown accustomed to, be crushed by the sudden reality that people can still make a difference in this country.

I am so happy... I can't even begin to properly express it through words. Sweet dreams, world.

Pedal & the Flux Film Festival

posted on Tuesday, April 03, 2007 by

As I mentioned recently on Project Pedal's blog - I submitted 'Episode One: From the Beginning' to the 2007 Flux iPod Film Festival.

I just found out that it was 1 of the 5 videos selected for their "Kitchen Sink" category (the category for everything else that's not a feature length or a short film)!

What happens now? A combination of judged and voters (anyone) help decide which video is chosen.

Your help (and time) would mean very much to me! All you'd have to do is make a free account here (I promise, it's easy and quick) and then rate 'Episode One' here.

Thanks so much!! Feel free to copy & paste this into emails, myspace bulletins, etc. I’ll keep everyone posted as to final results.

Digg it here.
